In celebration of the coming of the New Year, lets prognosticate. Here are my top three predictions for 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
First, I predict a space crisis of some sort. It might be two satellites colliding, astronauts stuck in orbit or one nation taking out another\u2019s satellite, but spacecraft will be in the news and not in a good way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Secondly, we\u2019re due to see the UK\u2019s first ever female Chancellor of the Exchequer. With the election due this year, Labour leading in the polls and Rachel Reeves as the incumbent shadow chancellor this looks like a very safe bet; but it\u2019s not going to be plain sailing by any means.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Finally, the most doom and gloom prediction. With increasingly polarised politics at home and abroad we\u2019re due to see a very high-profile political assassination that will shake the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
